Going into my first year, I was a bit hesitant just because other organizations I was with weren't the best but as soon as I got there, they greeted me with open arms. I’m thankful for the opportunity the Stars gave me and I’m thankful for the management, coaching staff, trainers and most of all the teammates I got to play alongside and create so many memories with. Down the road when I look back on my time with the organization I can confidently say I was proud to finish my hockey career as a Star!"

From the incredible teammates to the amazing coaching staff and the unique opportunities you get through the team, it was truly everything I could have dreamed of. My team had folded and Coach McConnell pursued me, the trust and faith the staff put in me was the biggest thing for me.

Through my time with the Stars, I got to know everyone in the organization quite well, however with Alex billeting a teammate of mine I got to know him very well. Not only Alex, but his family was very welcoming. Whether it was at his home, or the rink I truly couldn't thank Alex enough. I would highly recommend the Stars to anyone, I am forever grateful for the Stars organization."
