The Northumberland Stars ownership changes hands!

After 9 seasons under the Campbells; Glen and Cindy

the Stars see Alex McConnell take over ownership with business partner Bill Dyer.

“It’s an exciting time for sure, having been here and apart of the growth the last few seasons I am definitely motivated to keep building on what we have here. It’s not a situation where you come in and try to reinvent the wheel, the Campbells have done a great job at both developing players as well as consistently being a reputable franchise for the league. Of course there are changes that will be made and a certain emphasis on specific areas as we want this to be a destination players desire to be and a team the community rallies behind.” - Alex McConnell

With the league draft coming up followed directly by the Stars Spring camp, the work has already began to defend their south division regular season champions title. It will most definitely be a busy offseason for the new owners in Northumberland!
